Wayne,
I want to say that I understand where you are coming from and I have tried to help out the new collectors as much as I can. I will continue to do so. But my reasons behind this are. I have been on the losing end a couple of times where the chips I sent out were in good if not better than good shape and got back chips that were in deplorable condition. Now don't get me wrong because I do a lot of trading and its only every blue moon that I get some in this shape. Where now I know this and it all washes out to me. But I guess my biggest reason behind my motive is, I have a good friend of mine that collects chips, does not belong to the club although I have tried and continue to try and get him to join. Anyway my point is, I gave him some chips that I did not want in my collection that were damaged badly, Chipped, no hot stamp and so on. If you could have seen the look on his face. I think you would agree with me. Where as I don't even want to think about what the look would be if I sent some of these to a new or any collector. Hope this explains why I feel this way.
