I usually stay out of issues that don't affect me (maybe not). However I think stating that the NIS provider makes $2 or $3 for waiting on line for a couple of hours is understating it.
First off, many times a new issue comes out in several denominations. I would say $2 is made on $1 denominations, $2-$3 on $5 denominations, $5 on quarters and $10 on $100s.
Now if the service has 50-100 or more customers, I would say that it pays quite handsomely to wait a couple of hours on line.
Now don't get me wrong. I don't want to do it. However, it's not slave wages either for those that provide the service.
