The period of use if the Thunderbird host-chips is before I began visiting Las Vegas but I'm told they were 'business cards' for the casino hosts. They could be played, but being only dollar chips, most were probably stuck in the players' pocket. They most likely surface at garage sales and estate sales. Many were probably discarded and are lost to the hobby.
