Some months ago, 25 of us participated in the California lottery. The final result was that we won a total of $85.00 and it was decided among a majority of us that we take that $85.00 and buy $85.00 worth of tickets all at one time.
I know most of you have since forgot all about it, but I understand the current jackpot is about $60,000,000 and have therefore decided that now is the time to put the money on the line.
I am leaving in about a half hour to pick up some more slot cards at the Cache Creek Indian Casino, and on the way, will stop and get our tickets. I expect to be back in plenty of time to post the numbers on the board prior to the drawing.
If by any remote chance (and I can't imagine this happening) that I don't post them prior to the drawing, I will be going with Bill O'day, one of the participants, and he will be able to verify the numbers. But since the drawing is at 8:00 P.M., there should be plenty of time.
If we are lucky enough to win the big one, I will be sure to distribute your winning--postage paid
