In 1965, with my first "real" job, the Social Security Administration began deducting money from my earnings. The deal was that they were to do this until I reached the age of 65, at which time I could start receiving the benefits of these deductions. Thirty-five years later and now the age will be 67. Darn, now I have to live longer than I had planned.
