Truth is: I had MANY MANY offers for that Bandit.
But one email from one special person with the explanation WHY he wanted the chip made my decision easy.

It's kind of like certain Harrah's chips (like Gene Harrah's Club Reno hub mold vbg) BELONG in MY collection - and this fuchsia Bandit - YES - TCR calls it fuchsia - belonged in Wayne's collection.

When I found the chip - there was a lot of debate on whether it was the "purple" variety or "fuchsia." The difference of course was whether it was a common dime or rare one. I had a lot of frustration in the inability to determine which chip I had. At some point, I didn't care if it was valuable or not...
I simply wanted to know WHAT #!@$! COLOR it was!! rofl

Two emails told me I had the rare variety.
My thanks still go to James Campiglia and Mel Jung for their help and opinions on this chip.
I had the chip positively ID'ed at the convention and promptly relinquished it to it's new owner.

If you are new... I tell you this:
THERE AIN'T NOTHING like the heart-stopping moment of thinking you had some common little chip and seeing an R-10 or high rating in TCR.
I have to say that finding a FUCHSIA 10c One Armed Bandit chip was one of my high points in collecting!! grin (Gosh - was that cool!!!!!)

This chip is TCR # V4749 from the 1950's.
