BriaN. I've been totally up front with you about the Claridge $100 back up chip. Your problem is that you don't believe me. It has nothing to do with your post about them being available ... or the fact that I paid $400 for one on ebay over six months ago. The "mess", as you call it, had to do with you not responding to my email and you went public with it with your "hate mail" post. I told you that I was intending to sell them to my two subscribers at $110 each ... even went as far as emailing you an advance copy of my work-in-progress February A.C. Newsletter as a courtesy (which I'll never do again) that stated my $110 price for this chip. You indicated to some folks that you were going to sell these chips for $130 each. I don't care what you sell your chips for ... and I don't understand why it is any of your business how much I sell my chips for.... whether its $110, $220, $510, or $1,010. If my subscribers don't think I'm being fair with them, I'm sure that they will seek out another supplier.
Regarding your reference to my "bear" quote. I paid Russell Diaz $1,800 for a back up $2.50 Claridge chip (CLA-2.5b) and if that chip ever comes out of the Claridge vault like the $100 back up did ... yes, the bear will have eaten me again.
Thanks for your well wishes towards a long life.... it certainly sounds better than your last well wishes post.
