The first I heard it was on the news last week. TWO different stations. Last night my wife and I bought a tax program, TaxCut, to be exact. As your filling in your info you can see in the right corner the amount you owe, or in our case, your refund. When I was ALMOST done the program asks about the check and how much it was. There is no way around answering the question on the program. When I typed in $600 my refund was deducted exactly... $600. If you know a way around it I'm all ears.
