John, Sorry for the negative input, you are right. I did use a poor choice of words, deter was probably better than 'scare off'. A warning sign worded the way you suggest could alert some people to the possibility. By not posting a sign would you think the cruise boat was negligent and should be liable for damages from a delay of a few hours?

I think there are a lot of people who won't pay heed to a sign even if it would cost money not heeding it. Agree? If not, sit under a large clearly marked speed limit sign there in Florida., or even my state Texas! Signs won't solve the problem. As far as people on medication, don't you think they should always prepare a little more for the unexpected than the average person should? Even many of them won't use good judgment in risk taking. I know, I'm one of them! I smoked as I red the warning labels on the side of the pack, I ate fast foods after seeing the cholesterol tests from my doctor, I drove 70 past the 55mph speed limit sign. John, there were a lot of people ahead of me and a lot behind me doing the same thing, I'm not unique, just average. There are still a lot of people out there like that, don't they have some responsibility here? When I went out on the Fantasea, I looked at the weather forecast, it seemed to be natural thing to do, check for myself.

Don't forget this was done to 'suck every last dollar' since the casino was losing so badly.... a sign might have eliminated the element of surprise don't you think?
