You have found a great place to learn and have fun. There are many on this board that are happy to share knowlege and information. I can handle a couple of your easy questions.
You will get lots of differing opinions on which book is 'the best'. I keep both on my desk. The Chip Rack is very helpful to me because of the great numbering system. The Campiglia/Wells book has terrific pictures and many 'tidbits' of information, but is becoming somewhat dated with respect to chip price ranges due to the fact that it is not published yearly as the Chip Rack is.
I get my supplies from C.T. Coins. You may email them at ctcoins@aol.com for a complete catalog.
You are wise to decide on one particular collecting interest, otherwise you will fast become overwhelmed and broke!
Have fun, and welcome again to the club. -Kent
