It was a day of "except"!! Found a cool Vegas Vic salt and pepper set, EXCEPT it didn't say anything (Like Las Vegas, for example! )! Found 2 o.k. ashtrays for $2 each, EXCEPT we already had both of 'em! Found a set of viewmaster reels from Death Valley, EXCEPT I already had part of the set! Found a little plastic slot machine key chain from the Westward Ho, EXCEPT the handle was broken! Found another of the same kind of keychain, EXCEPT it didn't have a casino name! Found a Freddy Fremont bank for $2, EXCEPT it's a little broken and I already have one!!

How's that for an EXCEPTional day! We bought it all, EXCEPT for the Westward Ho plastic slot machine! I figured for $2, I can do a little TLC on Freddy Fremont, and have a matched pair. We also bought a couple of old Reno postcards, and a Nevada postcard folder. Didn't find a single chip, EXCEPT for the old paper and plastic "home game" types.
