Qwest lists a Pheasant Cafe and lounge in Hermiston today but no Rodmans in the area. Sagebrush country in northeastern Oregon not far from Milton-Freewater where a chip ID came up here a couple of days ago when the town was still Freewater. Big powerplant at Hermiston and you can get your sugarbeets processed there too. Still lots of birdies to shoot. Mostly wheat in that part of the world but onion fumes over at Walla Walla will make you tear up. Scenic in spite of the powerlines from the hydroelectric dam and the big ol' sirens that will go off if the nerve gas across the road at Umatilla Army depot ever starts leaking.
