.. but the story just doesn't ring true. It is beyond the pale to believe that a chip collector would be so rabid anti-slab as to commit a crime. If such an event happened to me, I would use it to my favor. Not only would I not take the pledge, I would be pushed further in the opposite direction. I think that such an event would pretty much shut up all the bad press I was getting on the board. After all, many would feel some guilt that their vitriolic attacks may have in some way led to what happened.

Lastly, I know this is a minor point. I am anti slab (member of the chapter). I have not signed the pledge since I feel I may still have dealings with one of the personna non gratas (Henry). How can Mark sign the pledge and vow not to buy or sell to slabbers. I happen to take the pledge seriously.
