There is a lot of truth in what you say.
It is unfortunate that people still haven't figured out that we are a mix of Collectors, Collector Dealers and Dealers.
Everyone views chip collecting from a different perspective.
I personally am not in this for the money. I have no problem sharing information with my fellow collector. I am not running down to a Casino worrying that I might not get the chips I need, nor try to corner the market.
I see the same things happening here in NJ as you describe in regards to Las Vegas.
I suppose we will have to live with it, become part of it or find a new hobby which will be no different.
