Part of a trend, unfortunately. Started with COVID, but even after recovery, the weaker / smaller casinos were hard pressed to compete and some had to "throw in the towel" -- at least regarding live table games, and some complete closures.
The rest of the article, which catalogs the 15 casinos that closed since 2020 in the LV area, was sobering. A 15 out of 80 closure rate for live-game casinos, or 20% rate. On the plus side, 5 casinos opened/restored table games in LV area during that same period, according to the article.
So, fewer for chips going forward.
