My wife is at the airport as I type this picking up our free tickets to the convention(we got bumped a few months ago). Cost is a rather ridiculous $293 but that beats the $500 I paid last year. The problem with the Southwest tickets is that they have to be used before June 7 which is the Friday of the convention. So who wants to leave on Friday??? The Southwest rate from Nashville was at $198 RT. The airline people warned me not to wait too much longer because they are raising rates to cover the cost of the federally mandated increase in security. In any case I got my tickets and my daughter is using her bump certificates to go to Paris during spring break. Doesn't she have it rough???
