I got mine to work by deleting all the twain files in the windows directory and re-installing the software and drivers. There must have been a bad twain file in there somewhere because it works now. I wish I could use my old software now. I can't tell if the scanner is very bad or I can't figure out the software yet. The scans are fuzzy. It's not so much with the chips as with larger scans. The scan below is with the new scanner. It's a little fuzzy and came out bigger than I wanted. The flexability of this software leaves a lot to be desired.
