Had a bunch of those butt-ugly $5 commemorative chips they produced in 1995.

1995 must have been the heyday for mass producing $5 commemorative chips.

Took them to the cashier and the older lady took them all no questions asked. I had about 30 of them, different varieties.

Afterwards I found out here that she shouldn’t have taken them and they were no longer redeemable. I honestly did not know at the time if you could or could not redeem them for cash..
