I was up there with a bag full of chips a few summers ago. In Reno, they were cashing at Silver Legacy, and others. And it was only certain chips. The cashiers had lists of what was good and what could not be cashed. That being said, I find that even if something is expired, if you keep trying over and over, very possible someone will cash them for you. Cashing old chips is one of the greyest areas in our hobby. I have been refused on chips I know are redeemable, and I have brought chips I know are not, mixed in with good ones, and rather than sort them out, the cashier just takes them all.
