This chip was recently found in the auctions of Rich Burgel's estate. It is listed on the ChipGuide as a fake chip, it is not listed in TCR. Now one has popped up on eBay, where the seller is listing it as a "possible prototype". It is not a prototype, it is a fake. I hope that no one buys it at the minimum bid of $1,000.
Item description from the seller: "This rare $1,000 Baccarat chip from the Sands Casino in Las Vegas is a must-have for any serious collector. With its intricate design and possible prototype status, this individual casino chip is a unique piece of history from the iconic Las Vegas strip.
Whether you're a fan of vintage casino memorabilia or simply looking for an impressive addition to your collection, this rare Sands Casino chip is sure to impress. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of Las Vegas history. Cannot seem to find any information on this chip. Possible prototype!"
