I bought some of these on ebay awhile back and had the same question, I looked them up and found the same info about the edge inserts so went ahead and bought the lot. I think a some bidders shied away knowing there are fakes out there. The other thing is they are mint unused but I have sold a few on ebay and if I had the fake version would not even think about selling them. Just my 2 cents worth.
