This year my husband and I were able to attend our second convention (the first was back when it was held at The Orleans...we were there for about an hour on the very last day). We weren't there for very long, only about an hour or two, but I did manage to meet a few fellow chipboarders...you know who you are . We enjoyed chatting with Riverboat Rick for a few minutes, and enjoyed seeing some of his purchases.

For me, though, the highlight was finally getting to meet the most fun chipper in the world , who has been a hero of mine for many years...ever since I heard the "Steve Passalacqua found Phil Jensen's stolen chip collection!" story. I also got to hear the first-hand account of "Steve Passalacqua finds the mirror from the Apache Bar!" story...amazing!! A hero of the hobby, a great story teller, and an all around good guy...

Oh...we bought two pieces of slot glass at the convention...
