My son and I took a little side trip out of Vegas last week. We went through Pahrump and then on to Death Valley. I was getting some golf course marker chips from Furnace Creek. The guy in the pro shop was very nice to talk to. Conversation got around to the heat and he said the hottest he had personally seen there was 125 degrees. THAT IS JUST TOO DAMN HOT !!
