Downtown Reno is still a dump. Beefy's burgers are a 100x better than awful awful. Peppermill and Atlantis are the only two casinos worth visiting...If you like video poker, local bars like Parlor or Sierra Gold are wat better places to play and easily get free drinks and food if you are playing decent...Good luck!!
