Just a hard story to believe. I met the owner of this mirror 15 years ago. His Grandfather was involved in a HIGH level with the Apache Hotel when it was built. When a bar remodel happened, the Grandfather salvaged the bar and installed it with the mirror in his basement game room. The guy I met grew up with the bar and mirror in his grandfather's and father's house. The bar was eventually dismantled and the son saved the mirror unframed. The son passes on and the guy I met inherits the mirror only. The current owner called my good friend's frame shop about framing a large mirror and asked if someone could come to his house to uncrate it and bring it to his shop for framing. I was up for the job. As I uncrate the mirror he tells me the story BOOM I can not believe it. He let me take pictures and this is part of a picture.

To my knowledge, I am the only person with a backlit picture of this hand-engraved reverse-painted glass mirror. STUNNING does not do it justice.
