I was there too, and witnessed the line start to form actually before 10AM, crowd control barriers were put up at approx. 11AM and the first gentleman in line actually bought 15 stacks (20 chips to a stack)

A couple of quick corrections. This "gentlemen" was a Trump employee. He purchased the chips (probably in the quantities you mentioned, I did not see) during the employee time prior to the 12 o'clock public release.

The first public person (non-employee) to purchase the chips purchased 1 stack of the Bullies and 2 stacks of the Betty Boop - which of course makes his chips ultra-rare being the first non-employee chips release
