Seems to be how some people do things nowadays, I'm sorry to say.
There was an auction recently where I put my bid in, it was confirmed and then looked like I had won but it seems that they "forgot" to put my (4th) bid in so somebody else won the auction. Incompetence or what? They say that the only "fair" way is to relist it in May so I'll bid again hoping that they won't "screw up" again. This was with an auction house not Ebay so..............
