While I generally have no issues with that type of forum, I recently encounterd a problem with the messaging between users. It could be a user error, but...

A member sent me a message, but I received no notification. I happened to notice my envelope icon had a 1 on it, meaning a message was waiting. I read it and responded. A day or so later I contacted the sender, outside of the forum, to say the forum messaging was not working well for me, and we should switch to regular emails. He said he too was not getting notifications.

I then went back to forum messaging and could only find the original message and none f our follow-on replies.

If I am doing this wrong, please let me know the better way to have smooth conversations in messaging on the forum.
