While James has pretty much answered the question as I would have, I always looked at the raffle much like the club auction.

These fundraisers help us balance out the expenditures of the convention which seems to get more expensive every year.

Without the funds raised by those efforts the club couldn’t possibly keep the costs of the banquet, the admission, table fees and many other expenses at bay while still offering a volunteer reception to show our appreciation for those folks.

Your donation for the volunteers is also a huge help in that effort and greatly appreciated !!!
