Not sure if the freebie version of the forum software you use is capable of supporting verified users but that's an easy way to know the real from the unreal people.
I use it at chipper. Its not infallible but its very secure and narrows down the hunt for unverified members.
We are enabling a system this week that not only gives the verified checkmark next to the user name but will tag non verified members as such.
I'm sure there is many unverified users on my site and unless they start trouble I don't care, I'm not banning them. Some folks like to speak anonymously... But soon at Chipper if you want your account to be that way it will be tagged as unverified and the statements you may make or the posts will carry that tag.
If you say something on the internet you should have the decency to attach your name. I agree with you there Barry.
