Thanks Dan for the information you present.

I know I am just a small fish in a big pond but I at one point (about 2 years ago now) was considering running for a position in the group but then the bickering back and forth started and I ran away from it as far as I could go. No longer attending meetings etc. It has gotten considerably worse and I like to think I like most people and certainly give them the benefit of the doubt, but even if I disagreed with someone's behavior, I would never consider using the tactics I have seen occur over the past few years. I certainly am not going to blame anyone in particular for what I see going on as I feel it goes both ways with many people. I love the chipping and the people I have met over the years but I certainly would never consider running for any office at this point as it is way too hostile. I'm rambling here so I'll stop at this point.
