Nick nice of you to acknowledge that being so new.
Yes the volunteers work hard and spend their time
helping put on a great show.
I too used to unload the trailer, set up the tables and
after all was over break down the tables and load the
trailer.
The volunteers also would gather and get special chips
a meal and a special thank you presentation. But for
me and others we really didn’t want all that stuff, the true
reward was helping the Club and people we cared about.
And seeing a successful Convention. I think the Leaders
feel the same about volunteering their time to work selflessly
with their time. It’s not all about the money, gifts, giveaways
it’s about the Club itself and people in it.
I hope you enjoy this hobby and Club members as I do and
hope to see you at the convention.
