Sadly, you and others see my comments as negative. I am just pointing out problems and offering solutions. Many others have done the same as me and get the same response. What I and others attempt to do is be positive, just like you, we all have better things we could be doing. We make these comments, make suggestions, offer solutions, and yes volunteer to make this a better and sustainable organization. The clique that has led this organization for years lacks the skill set and executive talent to enter the 21st century.
It is easy to say “This is all negative chatter and stop talking”. Let me remind you, this is my club too and you will never quiet me or others who are trying to improve this organization. Danny Madrigrano offered to fly to Las Vegas, bring and bring a team of helpers to Las Vegas at his expense and inventory the club’s assets and he was told “No thanks”. You may want to reconsider your thoughts on who is really being negative. The club spent over $10,000 hiring a museum employee to do an evaluation for the MOGH’s idea of creating a museum. I have owned and operated four museums in three different cities located in four different casinos. I would have done it for free! I have business plans I would have shared for free. These are just a couple of examples of consistent poor leadership over the years. I would not call this negative! I have a record of always trying to help this club and promote the hobby that dates back decades. Please don’t brag about your years of volunteering. You got your plaques! You may have forgotten, I am the one that nominated you for President. Unfortunately you declined and now we have no leadership. When you declined I supported David, but it is obvious the major conflict of interest prevents him from performing his elected duties.
My comments are anything but negative, they simply present a different side, one you obviously disagree with. The last thing you ever want to do as a leader is suppress free speech let alone the truth.
