Understand your frustration at the time.

As I have told many people since then,
I felt really badly about what happened and even apologized to Sheldon for that.

I always considered Sheldon a friend and always will.

I don’t want to get into any specifics of the situation again but we were at an impasse on the board with no good solution.

We took the advice of our legal council at the time and unfortunately it ended the way it did.

I know it doesn’t mean much to you or to the Smiths, but I am truly sorry for what happened and it has bothered me for quite some time.

Although I was one only only 6 board members at the time, I take responsibility for the outcome and I have to live with that decision, even if I didn’t completely support it.
