I'm a small time collector. Please see the image below to view a few pieces in my collection.
Please note that the only item in the image that will fit within the tooling that you encouraged ICG to manufacture is the $1 Gold Rush chip in the center.
Most of these pieces are of low value, though other pieces of the same size or shape from other properties or time frames are of high value.
The items in the image are not representative of every size and shape of gaming marker that I have in my own personal collection, much less what has been made and used over the last 100 years.
Please tell ICG that if they truly want to be ready to slab gaming markers, they must be ready to tool up for WAY more than one size or shape to properly serve this hobby. ...otherwise, they will be serving you, and I know that you haven't had enough chips slabbed to justify their original investment in the tooling. ...or maybe you though it is sooooo inevitable that you pitched in on the tooling. If so, you made a bad investment.
I'll be around 10 years from now, ready and willing to laugh at the foolishness of the few people who tried to grade and slab casino chips.
