A chat feature in the MOGH (chip guide) would be a large undertaking, but I like your thinking. In the CCA message boards, you can DM other users, but the message boards and the chip guide (MOGH) are not tied together. In fact, they're on separate servers. Technically, it could be possible to have a link for every MOGH user that points to the DM link of a user on the forums and you could have your chat there. If the MOGH and the forums (and the main CCA website) were ever to be fully integrated with each other (and on the same server), it should be easier to implement. But as someone who (somewhat) understands how each of these systems works, and knowing the number of hours our volunteers (of which I'm one) would have to invest in this, it probably isn't going to happen soon.

If you'd really like the club to consider something like that, please navigate to the "Suggestion Box" within the "Club Business" category on the forums (https://forum.ccgtcc.com) and create a suggestion. You and others can discuss the merits, drawbacks, and implementation suggestions and the board and the various tech volunteers can see it and hopefully do something with it.
