Cindy and I took the 7 night Norwegian cruise that starts in Honolulu and visits the islands. We then made our own arrangements at each island stop, mainly renting a car and just seeing what we wanted. It went really well and we had a good time. Most of the car rental places were within easy walking distance of the cruise ports and of course the cruise was way less money than getting a hotel each night plus you got to see the various islands.
