As you know the FQ's did more than their share of LE's. Casino Mgr Rick Howe started a policy of destroying any LE's not gone from the cage 90 days after issue.

The Presidents were issued on Feb 1. In March we were getting a destruction list together. The cage manager gave us a list to be destroyed. The presidents were on it. I told Rick and Mike, to take them off the list as chippers did not have a chance to get them and the convention was coming. Most would go away. They agreed.

The destruction list was sent to gaming, without the Presidents on it. On 4/4/96
security picked up the chips for destruction and took them to Silver State. The presidents were taken by mistake and crunched. I always went to watch this little show but was on vacation at this time. Chippers gave us a lot of complaints on this one. If I remember right, cheques in the mail was just starting and had orders to fill.
