whereby a hot stamp costs less. The casinos are not interested in supplying souvenirs for collectors and boring-looking chips are the way to go, for now. But in a year or two, when the hot stamps start wearing off - maybe the casinos will re-think that position. Still looking askance at the Durango $5 grand opening chips here. Think they made similar $25 and $100 G.O. chips but I wasn't inclined to try to find any, let alone buy one of each. Casino wins!
