I think grading wouldn’t amount to a better

Chipping experience.
But would lead to slabbing and grades like coins.
But could lead to higher prices and establish
a count as such similar to coins.
May be ok for some with the Rare high value chips.
So an interesting subject that I suppose anyone could
do as long as they have an official grader and grading
system.
Myself I don’t care for the idea of slabbing and like handling
the chips.
And I suppose it would only be for high end chips like
coin collecting. People still put coins in
books and tubes and rolls etc and I’d say the majority
aren’t slabbed unless graded and then you almost have to
to keep the chip/coin in the same exact condition as it was
when graded.
