Re: New postal rates effective Jan 21

A suggestion I brought up on the Club board but heard no response from is the Club should try and get eBay to include chips in their low cost shipping program. They currently allow trading card cards and coins to use it. Why not chips? You ship using a 5 x 7 rigid envelope. Weight has to stay under I think 3 or 4 ounces and it can't be more than 1/4" thick. I took one package to the local post office with chips in it and the postage would have been $1.14 and opposed to the $3.95 +/- we pay for a regular packet. These are for low cost chips $20 and under I believe but that is what is shipped probably more than the higher cost chips. There is no tracking but eBay guarantees the package.

If the Board or a member has the ability to contact eBay about getting chips included it only makes sense. It would save the members a lot of money.
