The bottom chip is from my collection pre-reopening of the Tuscany's table games. The top chip is from post re-opening of table games.
The side insert are smaller in length on the chip's edge, and on the faces, which can be seen in my earlier post.
However, there could be another explanation...
It is quite possible that this variation existed before the re-opening, and for some reason, that re-order is now the predominant chip on the tables. Accordingly, I ask that others look at their Tuscany $1 chips that they obtained pre-closure of the table games. If any are found with the lager side inserts, then this variation is a pre-existing re-order.
In either event, there are defiantly 2 versions of this chip.
