I had reported another seller for a links violation (this was a dishonest seller so I was trying to use any rule I could to get the auctions canceled). The response i got was that the seller had been warned not to do it again. The auctions were not canceled

One hour after I was told the seller had been warned not to do it again, the seller posted more auctions with the same violation.

I reported this again with refernce to the earlier warning.

I got a response that a seller has 24 hours after a warning to comply (Keep in mind that we weren't talking about him correcting the auctions, he was listing new ones).

The next week the Seller posted more auctions and took out one of the violations but left another of the same type violation. I reported this to Ebay who promptly advised me that they were warning him not to do it again.

Apparently Ebay will cancel the auctions of some people without any warning, but other people get the following warning:

"Please comply with our policies or we will be forced to ask you to comply with our policies again."
