This is an interesting chip. I'm not positive this came from the Casino Royale in Las Vegas. I bought this chip from Bob Matthews in 1993. It is a Christy and Jones (shiny hat and cane chip). I don'tknow if they were still making this type of chip in 1992 when the Casino Royale opened. Can someone please tell me if they were. This chip is Dark red with a white hot stamp. There are several other Casino Royale(s)listed in the Gaming Table, could this chip be from one of them?? Anyway, if this chip is from Vegas I would say it is fairly rare(I have never seen any others)and I would value it at $20-$30.
