Hey Rich! I'm not trying to argue, just offering a different opinion on the F1 last weekend. My disclaimer, of course, is that I'm no longer a Las Vegas local and didn't have to deal with the nightmare construction for several months. I came to town a week before the race, I had a parking pass to a lot right off of Koval and Trop, and I had a badge to get through security two hours before the gates opened to the public so I didn't have to fight the crowds!

I loved it! What a spectacle! It had problems, but the race itself was exciting. It brought worldwide attention to Las Vegas, not that Las Vegas needs that but it always helps. To me, it's what Las Vegas is! I mainly dealt with Europeans, British, and Australians in the section I was in. They were all very happy with it and weren't phased by the drama surrounding the race. And they all brought LOTS of money!!

I hope F1 sticks with their ten year contract and recoups the money they lost this year. I know I'll be back!
