When someone corners the market (not this case) or when someone contracts the casino on an inside deal, to make the chips for them, the whole deal stinks.
We can debate the "right" number to issue till the cows come home. Too few to one person may be 750, too many 2,000.
I'll keep it simple. I don't want or need any managed issue. I don't want or need any chip that is lied about, such as "rare" when someone found a cache of hundreds previously undiscovered. I don't need or want any chip that was issued for a group or special interest so they can sell it for profit.
