I think it's called supply vs. demand.

Vegas - 4Q - Pai Gow chips
Vegas - Mandalay Bay - Chinese NY Chips for the last 2 Years - and probably this year again.
AC - Wil Espin Tropicana

just to name a few of the "lower end" chips in the last couple of years from my area of interest.

Right or Wrong - I don't know
I've been on both sides of the fence...........
Had to pay the going rate on one and said screw the others.
