I loved going through chips and finding variations. Before some of the records were available, I combed through the GTBC chips from Galveston and kept thinking they were a little different. The colors DID indeed change some, but when I saw the type different, I knew I was on to something. Of course everyone thought I was crazy (which...)

Later, we found that they were three different orders and although they all used the "New" font, some of the letters had changed over the years.

One had what I called the "long tail" version...

The two "short tail" versions had slightly different "B" - called the thick and thin B.

To this day I'm not sure anyone cares.
