Very nice and rare chips. The image on the chip does seem to very closely match the image on the light blue H&C $1 chip, so I can see how the ID would be intuitive.
Do you have any information about the origin of these chips? I found that six white spot edge plastic chip design in a RT Plastics of Nevada catalog circa 2000. Are they from the RT Plastics of Nevada archives?
They are not associated with the King's Casino in Roseville by the free online Staeffler California Guide, or by Armin Pfaender's online subscription California chip guide.
From what I can tell, these chips only began to appear less than ten years ago or so. Do you or anyone know if they began to show up earlier than that? From the little research I have done, I think the King's Casino in Roseville was closed by 1980. I might be able to dig deeper into that. If the chips are from Roseville, interesting that they would show up so long after the casino was closed.
