My Casino Golf Career “short lived”

When I retired to Las Vegas, I was playing golf almost every day and the wife was on my back about spending all that money on golf so she looked in the Las Vegas review journal and saw the help wanted ads. They were opening a new casino golf course in Primm, Nevada, and she made an appointment for me to go there to be a golf employee, she said you can play all the golf you want for free so I did I interviewed and they hired me as a golf starter advisor. I knew a little bit about golf. I played most of my young life but the drive was 140 miles round-trip from Summerlin Las Vegas Nevada out to State line. Anyway I got to meet Gary Primm and open the Primm Valley golf course later on I got a job at the tournament players club with the PGA in Summerlin much closer to home the benefit was I got to play golf in town at all the courses free with my PGA card , it was fun I got to meet Tiger Woods at a golf tournament and many others. Great memories here are some pictures. Thanks for looking at my post. Enjoy your day at the golf course Rich Burgel. Ps…. I almost forgot I was also a volunteer for the Frank Sinatra golf tournaments here in Las Vegas. I got to meet his wife Barbara and a lot of other celebrities great stuff.
